I mean, really. Who out there is going to read Twilight AND know about current MLB players? Srsly.

Hey, not all interest in vampires comes from twilight. There was a rich history of vampires in popular culture before that abomination: Stoker, Anne Rice, Buffy, any number of Role-Playing games. Just because this particular writers block prompt was probably targeted at the Twilight fans, because this is LJ and we're not exactly the target audience anymore...

See, that would make sense if this post was just talking about vampires in general. But you bring Twilight into the picture, and all other vampire lore kind of become irrelevant to the people who are now the target audience. IMO.
