My first year of grad school is almost over. Now to work an assistantship over the summer and take one class online so I can teach a section of freshman English in the fall semester. I have never wanted to teach, but find myself incredibly excited about this. I'm in English Studies which means I can take whatever english classes I want. Next

Happy birthday Kate! I actually envy you and your academic-ness, as I am currently in a quandary about whether to go to grad school, what I want to be when I grow up, the meaning of life, etc. And it sounds like you're having a good time. :D
