Quite accidentally, trailing after various Silmarillion art thingies, I stumbled upon the site of Mendo Kazuki. She has some yummy portraits of some of Silmarillion's elves done in somewhat RG Veda'ish style, makes it double yummy for me, but what caught my eye, was a gallery named 'Nibelung'. I can't read what it says on the page, but things look ( Read more... )

Pah, but of course it is! This way blood doesn't get on your clothes, if you don't succeed in a clean break. It's also the reason why they're in the water - to wash away the stuff, and in the worst case if the victim fights back too much, you can always drown them a little bit to make them more cooperative! :-)

ah, yes, I see now. Perfectly. You are SO wise~!

(points to your icon) Did you also see the film Titus (of Shakespeare's T. andronicus?) ... his culinary skills were on display there as well. deep-dish pizza, double sons filling.

Yes, I did. Right in the wake of Ganky obsession in its strongest. I believe that icon is from the said movie.

Humhum... I was just wondering if 'Nibelung' isn#t refering to the series of Doujinshi that has been published in Japan.
But I'm too tired to read everything right now and search for more informations. Maybe I'll do later this weekend :)

It's the covers of their Nibelung doujinshi series.

That's Warai jizou no kai, by the way. I don't buy Asgard doujin, but I believe they're the biggest/most popular circle for the Asgard fans.
Nice to see they're still around, they've been at it forever. I thought they closed down some years ago, but I guess they changed their mind and returned. (Or maybe just some of the members left and others stayed).

Isn't it the same group who did the doujin I gave you? ^^/

Funny enough, I think I bought some of their LOTR doujin without paying attention that it was the same circle doing StS. XD

The art indeed looked familiar, but 'fraid I don't have an eye keen enough to notice the identicity, and similarities happen. :-}

And big Asgard fans also dig Silmarillion and LOTR, whee! I am not surprised, but still it makes me happy somehow. :D~
