Picked up "RG Veda" again. It still can be summarized as "A story about really, really, really pretty people who are really, really, really dumb"

And Yasha-ouch is so, so lame, I can't help but roll my eyes every time he goes "Ashura!!!!" and given the frequency with which he does it I expect my eyeballs to pop out onto keyboard any given minute. Obviously he inherited not only Shiryu's looks but his habits as well. Ick. :E

Dude, comedy's too a good word for him. He's a bad song of Celine Dion. :|

Which, ironically, isn't even CLAMP's doing - for once!

They just amplified something that was 100% already in the text. XD

Really? I thought the plot was just loosely based on some Veda, but I'm not surprised anyway. All mythologies are swarming with idiots.

They...helped. A lot. A special IV of CLAMP angst into a pretty mythology.

All mythologies are swarming with idiots.

Now, if only people would figure that out about their own religions. Of course, that would also involve them figuring out that their religions HAVE mythologies.

But, no. Everyone is a genius even the ones who, in my opinion, should have said 'fuck you, [deity of the moment]. I'm not doing that for the world.

Tehee, special IV. :D I was reading "Children of Hurin" the other day, and one of reoccurring thoughts through it was, "That would make a very CLAMPy CLAMP manga".
