I know! I can't eat anything sticky, so the candy apples were out of the question, but they sure are pretty!

West Side Market is just chock full of food pr0n. I may have to schedule a summer visit to Cleveland, especially now that the art museum is open again. :-}

In all my years of living in northeast Ohio, I have never been to the West Side Market. I need to remedy that, quickly.

You seriously do. It's off Lorain Ave., open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.

Whatever, Kit, it would've been covered with like sock fuzz! We can make caramel apples here! But yes. Yes, they did look like heaven.

Awwww, you're the sweetest, but I just got my grocery cash today (interning might not pay much, but it does pay... a little XD) and I am happily re-stocked w/ noms.

OMG, I'm SO HUNGRY now. I want to eat everything there!! We have something in Philly, the Redding Terminal Market but I haven't been in ages. I think I need to get there and devour lots of tasty food.

And pierogis! ♥ I tried making them from scratch once, and they were so delicious but so much work! Mmm, food.

You definitely do; I would love to see your market photos. There are two huge fruit and vegetable corridors that I didn't even take any photos of, and I should have.

Do you still have the pirogi recipe? That's something I'd love to learn to make. Do you need like a little dough-shaper?

I'll dig up that recipe for you! I filled mine with homemade mashed potatoes that had chives and cheddar cheese mixed in. Mmm. And yup, I use a little pierogi mold. :) But you can use a circle biscuit cutter and just fold them up yourself!
