Midnight - A Pensee
After grading some 200+ papers this evening I figured I would write something once more, a rather quickly penned Pensee.

the witching hour,
silently creeping closer
while summer fades and autumn falls.
When did it get so late?
A Pensee is a form consisting of five lines. According to tradition the Pensee is unrhymed, with lines that vary in leangth and have a certain focus. The lengths/focus are as follows:
Line 1: 2 syllables/Subject
Line 2: 4 syllables/Description
Line 3: 7 syllables/Action
Line 4: 8 syllables/Setting
Line 5: 6 syllables/Final Thought
