The main reason why I chose this icon was a combination of the expression and the eyes. I managed to stumble across it searching around and the combination of the black and white with the slight coloration of the eyes caught my attention. And since I wanted a few icons that weren't exactly anime/manga related and I liked the expression I figured I would use it.

I don't remember where exactly I found this icon but it is one that I've used by several different people, usually those who play Soubi from Loveless. It seems like on days that I actually have a little time off someone winds up calling and asking for a favor or wanting me to do something. This is a reflection of that feeling, annoyed with being interrupted when I just want to read or listen to music.

Messa is one of the artists that I used to follow when I was at deviantArt. She is a magnificent artist, and just as talented of a writer. The character in the icon is Sipiyu, an original character from her story, and the title of the artwork is called Play Dead (hence the keywords). This icon is mainly reserved for those really crappy days or ones in which I'm ready to just shut off all the lights and pretend no ones home.

Ahh from Hellsing, this is a tribute to the end of the series in which Walter (the Hellsing butler) does a heel-turn on Integra (Head of the Hellsing family and organization). While he was loyal and deeply devoted to both Integra and her father, he was also driven by a desire to fight and defeat Alucard. The 'How long' comes into play the debate about how long he had planned the events as well as a line from Walter to Integra. I mainly just chose the icon for the coloration, but plan to use it for moments of realization or a serious atmosphere.

This is The Grim Peddler from the manwha Chronicles of the Grim Peddler.The Grim Peddler waltzes through fairly tales, giving the stories' inhabitants their hearts' desires. I've only been able to read the first volume as it seems that Udon Entertainment has dropped the ball and has stopped working to translate the other five volumes. In addition there don't seem to be any scans to be found besides the first few chapters. But it's a title and character that I really like and the expression was wonderful so I like using it. I actually have a lot that I made from the few scans there are but I'm horrible with coloring so will probably never wind up doing anything with them. ^^;
I'll add as people request, though since I only have 15 icons it won't be too long of a list. Also I'll have a true post and update later today or tonight.
