I have a few topics to catch up on, with a new baby i've been run ragged and havent had much time for myself...
Change, Might and Right, Admiration
Change
My life has changed dramatically in the last few years, I've settled down, had 2 beautiful children, taken an "office" job, stopped taking life and death risks, I have to take care of my family, and have other people to consider!
I think the most apparent change lately has been my hair! my daughter Miral decided she wanted to help me colour my hair - it was a less than successful operation and it turned PINK! i've been wearing a hat for days!!!
Might and Right
I'm REALLY not the person to talk to about this, im one for might, and have a tendency to let my fists do the talking!!
Admiration
Well, who do i admire? I admire my husband, from the stupid, cocky flyboy i met all those many moons ago, he has grown up, matured, and well become domesticated! *giggles* he can "cook" his own food when im not around - and sometimes mine - although it is the replicators finest! He can clean - when he gets his butt in gear, and above all, he's the best damn pilot in the quadrant (and beyond), he's just such a kind and generous person!
I admire my daughter, no matter how high the odds are stacked against her she's always willing to try new things, and to be the best that she can be and more! She's a dare devil, pushing the bounds of her talents, and growing and developing every day and im so proud of her for all she's come through, and she's an amazing little girl!
I admire Kathryn Janeway, all that she has done, the years we were stranded, getting us home, for the most part, in one piece and she's still standing. she stuck to her principles, the prime directive, and flew in the face of all things dangerous!
Thats about all at the moment!
