Well, passive aggressive is failing to do something and knowing that lack of action on your part is causing harm or has the probability to cause harm. What she's doing is actively aggressive. She's back stabbing though, because she's too cowardly to face some face on. probably because she'd get so shamed in a direct confrontation her boyfriend would realize he's with a controlling, overbearing weakling and he's being dragged down by his association with her. I guess I'm sorry that she lives in a perpetual state of thinking her relationship is just holding on by the fingertips, and it's made her paranoid, but she'd have to be inherently paranoid to end up like that.
Avoid people like that and the people involved with them, you'll catch a bad case of drama.
