My sister is going to Rome in a few weeks and I am dying of jealousy. Yes, I've been there before and yes, this is her first trip to Europe. *insert childish wail* But I don't caaaaaaaare! I want to go back. I want proper Italian food and Giolitti and daily access to news stands that sell my beloved Chi and Gazzetta

Ah that is exciting for her! When does she go? I am heading to Rome and Sicily in August and I can't wait! Every time I go my heart skips a beat.

She's going in the beginning of July when her mid-deployment leave is, since it's a far more efficient use of time to go to europe for a few weeks than come all that way home from Kuwait. She ought to be in Rome for the last few matches of the WC. I've made her promise she'd go watch them in a bar with some crazy Italians.
