an abenaqui church. it combined catholicism and native american spirituality.
it is the 400 anniversary of quebec, which one of the reasons we went. if you didn't know already, I've been working at my old high school for three weeks during what they call, "endterm" which means a three week intensive in an area of study. where i slept with five other high school sophomores. it was an interesting time because i had to balance being the cool older kid with being the responsible adult, all the while with the older ones giving them time to themselves and also hanging out with them. the younger ones were a lot easier. i bonded well with one of the younger girls. more on her later.
i taught them the cutthroat version of Uno.
my marionette my mother bought for me since i was doing this whole thing for free. and apparently she loves me.
