Frightening. I've had a number of those symptoms over the past few months.

I'll have to see if my insurance will cover the tests, but I'm overdue for an exam, anyway.

The real scary thing is that it mimicks so many other diseases, like diabetes. And high blood pressure can disguise diabetes. Scary for sure. If you haven't been to the doctor in a while, and if you are over or near 30, you may want to request a full blood panel as well. Many things can be detected through the blood.

I've already had one of those. It was a matter of course for going to my new doctor, apparently. I'm looking pretty healthy, with only my red blood cell count being a bit high, interestingly.

With a higher red blood cell count, did they test you for diabetes, congenital heart disease or kidney disease? I only ask because you mention you are always tired. Those three are something to make sure to check out especially if you ever decide to have children. Gee, can you tell I worry about people's health? Too many years in the health field I think. So I don't mean to sound pushy or put my nose where it doesn't belong. I just care. :)
