I finally got around to going through my friends/communities list, did some decluttering, and removed myself from the majority of communities I had joined, including many that are about decluttering! duly motivated to do the same to my LJ...i still post regularly if not AS regularly as I used to due to family, school, work keeping me in a constant state of frenzy. But I read and write when i can...like you I have communities I just need to abandon and friends I can't remember where they came from......declutter away!

I don't post very often, but I'm still reading.

Most of my communities have gotten pretty slow, and most of my friends don't post much anymore. I used to check LJ multiple times a day and find new updates. These days I can go away for a week and catch up in a few minutes. I still usually check every day though.
