Colin honey, you posted them in a community where people drool over fancy skyscrapers and exotic corners of the world. Of course they sneered at a few blurry photos of okc.
eh, don't you love it when people are willfully ignorant, and then rude about it?
Sad but true, the bombing is one of the first things that springs to people's minds about OKC (people not from here, that is). Once when I was out of the country and trying to explain where I was from ("it's next to Texas" usually works, ha) someone replied, "Oh, yes! That was where the building... fell down."
Anyway, I esp. like the Midtown photo and the Presbyterian church/mail car one.
yeah, I'm actually ok with not having a lot of national noteriety, since texas soaks up most of the national derision. Being surrounded on two sides by a far crazier state (austin excepted) does wonders for our public perception, or lack thereof.
I like the photos, but mostly because I used to live about one block from where you took all the pictures. I still remember the neighborhood quite fondly and would move back if I could afford it.
I love the Plaza Court so much. My friend Brad and I love to drive downtown and park at some random parking lot and just walk and take pictures. I adore our downtown. I think it is quirky and beautiful.

I did like your retort to that girl, though.
