Just don't buy another Exploder. For a '99 (2000? I know it was fairly new), that thing gave you WAY too much trouble. Just to offer a comparison, my Tacoma was about the same age, and the only time it ever left me stranded anywhere was when I got a flat tire or ran it into a snowbank, and repairs were limited to standard maintenance items.
I prefer this site for separating the crappy models from the good ones, even within the same make: http://www.carreview.com/reviewscrx.aspx. Just avoid anything with an average user rating below 4, and chances are your new car will give you FAR fewer headaches.

It is running well, but I know that it is going to need an umber of things replaced, like the exhaust and such, soon. It has nearly 90,000 miles on it, driven yours that far? The fact is that the problems I had were not because they were common in that model, it was because my brakes were actually reparied *wrong* by the dealership in houghton, and they also screwed up my wiring and donna's at different times. Unfortunately, they were also the only place I could get work done sometimes. ~me.

My car has *never* left me stranded anywhere.
It is running well, but I know that it is going to need an umber of things replaced, like the exhaust and such, soon.
