1-What makes me (not)tolerate this pairing? Well... This depends entirely on where you put them. If we say, in canon, then it's the fact that Road has hurt Allen's friends, and he shouldn't take too lightly on that. And, of course, that they're enemies. If you plonk them down in some AU, you could make it work, yep. Road needs to be less child-looking, though, of course, LOL.
2-What the challenge is? Well... It IS canon fact that Allen finds Lenalee cute, and we haven't seen any sign of such for Road. (Disregarding the whole canon scene thing, here.) And you shouldn't just push that away. But I can't deny Road and Allen have chemistry.
3-What makes me upset about them? They're enemies! RAWR! XDDD And I'm a die-hard AllenLena fan, so Allen with anyone often makes me a bit... Meh. But I'm open to this pairing, and some other Allen pairings.
4-What makes me tolerate them? Well, they have chemistry, and anywhere else but in canon they could work together.

1-I agree with this definitely. They are enemies, though you know me. I'm a fan of AU, and of this pairing so xD I can actually see it working--especially if Allen goes to the Noah's side (even if it means--protecting someone). Though technically Rhode is older than Allen, I think she's just fine the way she is? XD she's certainly less childish looking than she was at the beginning of DGM
2-Yes he thinks she's cute, but then so does Lavi and nearly everyone else at the order XD *that's a very shallow argument, y'know?* (now if you said something about his need to protect her--I could follow that. But then this is Allen, the Messiah character. You could technically say he loves everyone and can get away with it XD) but yes the Chemistry, I really like it XD ( ... )

1. When I started shipping them: Well, I'm not sure I SHIP ship them, but sort of a little? And that was very recently. Like... a few months ago? I used to not like them as a pairing at all. XDD You changed that, Dem, I think.
2. What I think their challenge is: Uuhhhh. *Blink* Their relationship really seems pretty stable, so I dunno... I guess a problem could be that they might worry about where their relationship would go if they got together or something...? Since it's so great now. I can at least see Lenalee worry about this.

1. When I started shipping them: In 2008 I think?
2. What I think their challenge is: Lavi's a Bookman (in training), Kanda's a closed-up person who tries his best to ignore his feelings. Do I need to say more? 'Cause I could go on and on, lol.
3. What makes me happy about them: Their interractions in general! 8DD I just really really love seeing these two together, no matter the situation.
4. What makes me sad about them: Their interractions can make me sad, too. And... sniff... how big are the possibilities for a happy happy ending for these two? :<
5. What moment I wish had never happened: *Scratches head* Ihatethisquestion. Nothing, nothing at all.
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Kanda with Lenalee, Lavi with... well, no one, really, but Allen if I have to choose someone.

2. What I think their challenge is: Uh... No idea, honestly. o__o I'm not sure there is any... They're already like a married couple, it's only a matter of time! *Shotshotshot*

1. When I started shipping them: Uuuhh. I got interested in them from the start but since Darklight was one of the first people on DGD that I got to know, I got sorta pulled into it indirectly due to him, I guess? So in 2008, April.
2. What I think their challenge is: Shyness, and both probably putting their work as top priority. Allen's focus is pretty unbalanced, sort of, and Lenalee... if I'm gonna be honest I think she could have a hard time seeing if she was developing special feelings for someone, due to being so full of love for everyone she knows.
3. What makes me happy about them: THEY'RESOCUTE! 8DDD And they seem like a couple to be able to stick together no matter what is thrown at them, if they do get started in the first place. They're strong like that, yeah. And I just love their interractions.
4. What makes me sad about them: Well... like all Exorcists, they don't exactly have a bright future do they? And Allen's life is shortened due to ( ... )

Hehe, despite my love of the two, I would struggle with question #7. I find it almost impossible to see a true happily-ever-after for them in the canon universe. XD; The big ifs being what you said - them both surviving, and his parasitic Innocence. (although if in the hypothetical that the war does end, I wonder if there would be no more Innocence since there would no longer be demons to fight, and thus it wouldn't keep draining on his life~?)
Hey, guess what, I'm blind. I think the awesomeness that is the concept of Komui/Reever stabbed my eyes out. IT IS THE REAL OTP. I do love your take on #7 for them. It fits both their personalities very well, albeit in different ways. I must say, as you reminded me, the concept of the death of Bookman and what it would do to Lavi beyond the duties even it would force on him.. yeah. It's a ridiculously fun, traumatic concept. XD

Roflol, that's okay, I totally understand. :3 Fangirl dreams aside, I always try to think about their characters and dreams and just general outlook on life... I just don't think a happy happy ending is possible. Indeed it is. xD I mean, I think he will definitely croak it before the end of the series.
