A month ago, despite my best arguments, my father told me he would be voting for McCain. Today, I talked to him on the phone and he informed me that he had already voted by absentee ballot

My racist socially conservative grandfather is also voting Obama, and trying to convince other people to do so. I am absolutely convinced that the End Times are here.

(In contrast, my traditionally Democrat parents are not voting for president this year. They couldn't ever vote for McCain and they distrust Obama. Hopefully enough others will cross the aisle to make up for them.)
