Is it just me who didn't surprised of Jack? I mean, I always had this suspicion toward every heroes. but heck, I thought he was waaay much cooler after I found him to be a liar. :P

the only thing was, poor Alice. she is my favorite character but she might be gone when Oz' seal was complete. it would be just even more hurtful than when Eliot died.

I was surprised at this new turn of events. I really should have seen it coming, but, oh well. Congratulations to you! :D

Hmmm... I really don't think Alice is going to die. Whatever happens, I get the idea that she and Oz will share the same fate. It's just a hunch, but I'm pretty sure they'll both be alive at the end. ^^

well, it's because ever since the start, Alice was weaker everytime the seal moved and now she was beginning to be more transparent. it's just sad.
the worst thing would happen is if Alice, wasn't the real Alice. she might be just memories of Alice who stayed in B-Rabbit form and belonged to Oz.

If anything, I think it means that, if not heading into the Abyss, Alice might just be becoming human. She wasn't getting weaker, per say, but she is losing her powers.

I'M HERE I'M HERE I'M LATE.

Well, after reading this chapter, I must admit my mind feels a little bit violated after reading this chapter. Too many, if there was such a thing, of mind-blowing plot twists in one chapter ...

Don't worry, you're not the only one who spends excessive amounts of time staring at Gil's face. /strokes his ears

Whew. Leo lost it big time this chapter. C'mere, Leo, lemme give ya a hug. No, even better, let Elly-kun come back and give ya a hug. Oh, wait, he can't do that, 'cause YOU'RE BOTH DEAD. Or impaled and dead, anyway. Why do characters I like always die or get horrible maimed? Well, I suppose they could always get married in the afterlife ...Wheeeew. Totally wasn't expecting Jack to be the one going batshit over Lacie. I mean, Glen never really seemed to be the one who was mourning to me at least. Wait, then why did Sablier happen? Did I forget something? Did I miss something? /has a crappy memory ( ... )

S'okay, I was late too! ^^'

Ah, but Leo isn't dead yet! And that's the final thread of hope that I cling to. It would really be awesome if he lived. I need him to live. D:

Mmmm Gil... <3

I KNOWWWWWWWWW WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DOOOO

The mindfuckery of TRC is what landed it among my favorite series, but I get the feeling that PH will be much more epic.
It seems to be better thought out, more methodical... So we'll probably end up trolled even harder of TRC.

You ever get the feeling of "This is abuse I shouldn't like this..." But you still can't stop?

PANDORA HEARTS. IT HURTS SO GOOD.

Well, yet ... Ahhh, that tiny hope that he isn't dead, because Baskerville's can heal from stuff like that? PLEASE. He's gotta live.

Gil <3

I DUNNO WHAT SHOULD WE DO? I KNOW! I THINK OUR SOLUTION SHOULD INVOLVE PENGUINS. THEY'RE KNOWN FOR RESOLVING THINGS, RIGHT?

Mmm. Tsubasa's mindfuckery (as well as it's crossovers) did trample it's way onto my favourites, did have a shades of "oh crap what do we do now?! I know this character should be the clone and mother of this character and let's let this character have a really sad confusing backstory! I bet the fan reaction to that will be funny!" whereas Pandora Heart's mindfuckery seems to be more of the "ahaha JUST AS PLANNED :}"

... Yeahhhh. Pandora Hearts: a good pain since whenever it started to hurt our minds.

Well, Jack said he wasn't dead, and even said that he still needs to be stopped, which leads me to believe that he isn't even dying either. It was just a "let's put a stop to this now" sort of wound. Plus, with all that the other Baskervilles have taken and recovered from almost instantly, I think their leader should be able to handle a little somethin.

*crosses fingers*

Yeah. That's what I like about PH. It's also what I love/hate about Sensei. You can tell that she's been plotting to ruin our fragile mental states since before she even started this thing.

Ooohh... was I waiting for this discussion to vent my shock and overall inability to take in this chapter, mindfucking as it was...!

It's in these moments that so much stuff suddenly makes sense, and yet nothing does all at once! Like Alice's psycho reaction to Oz back in chapter 1, or Jack's ambiguous, "Oh, it's you. Maybe this time, you'll manage to protect him properly." to Gil back when we first saw Jack in volume 2 (?).
I'm somehow convinced that either Jack killed Alice for some reason or other that involves Lacie, or that Oz is going to fall into the Abyss, time-skip to Sablier, and do something...
That, and I'm almost positive that Jack's little phrase was talking about Glen... or it could also be Oz if you take into account the time-skip idea... Oh dear god, I'm so confused... ;____ ( ... )

Oh no. I don't think he killed Oz. I think he just kind of... overpowered him. Do you remember how, whenever Jack took control inside Oz's mind, Oz was so powerless? I think it's one of those things, but Jack had to be more thorough because both of them were outside in the real world. Jack probably has more influence on the inside, so Oz is basically passed out right now.
Or that's what I'm hoping.

NO WAY THIS SERIES WILL END WITHOUT OZ.

NOT HAPPENING.

I WILL RAGEQUIT SO FAST YOU WON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE THE FANDOM WENT.

I don't think Jack killed Oz. That wouldn't benefit Jack, because he is using Oz as his vessel. I think he just squeezed his neck so he passed out (see earlier page). Or it's also possible that Oz overused his power.

Squeezed his neck?! O_O I never thought about it that way, though it does make sense. I always thought that look of shock was out of place, but was a reaction to Leo's impalement.

That's so horrific it almost makes me want to laugh...

Thank you so much for the thread and so detailed opinion, I'm too lazy now to read all comments now, but I'll do it later.
I think that Lily is surprised at Break, not Gil, because he shows later. If I would be wrong, then why Lottie is shocked to the bullet? She would already saw him, because of Lily's reaction to him. But you can have a point to her grudge to Gil, maybe she is angry with him, because he betrayed his master Glen? As for Alice slowly disappearance I think that the Oz' seal can not be a cause of it. Maybe it's the next plot twist, which sensei planned long before? Maybe it has connection to Lacie? I'd agree with you, but his seal at the pg 29 is only at the middle. To them go to the abyss it have to go all half of the clock, right?
