I... am about to attempt the ever-so-dangerous task of stripping the black out of my hair, and then turning it red. By my self.
God, if there is a God. Do NOT give me orange hair or I will cry. Thanks.

Pictures to follow if this is a great success. If it isn't.. well.. bitching to follow.

Do not try this at home.

Okay I havent written about this in my journal yet because i am so ashamed, but literally like 3 hours before I went to cancun last week I tried to bleach the top layer of my hair and it literally all like disenegrated and broke off about three inches from the scalp. So now I have this weird shor layer going on on top. AFTER I SPENT A YEAR GROWING MY HAIR OUT. I made Jesse go to kroger at 5 am and buy me hairdye- i secretly think thats why he broke up with me.

That's what happened to me a few months ago. Mine broke off about an INCH from the root, though. So mine's worse. Thank God Rich didn't break up with me for that shit.

Did he un-break up with you yet?

at first, it probably WILL be orange, and most likely it'll look like clown hair. i recently took dark red out and replaced it with a coppery-summery color.

i was horrified.

but then i slapped on shimmery coppery dye, along with the awesome conditioner that comes with hairdye, and it came out shiney and healthy and gorgeous.

good luck! don't get terrified at first step results.
