I am aware that he is deployed. I've been reading your journal for a while now. I was just pointing out that the way that the "Happy Birthday, Richard. Wish you were here" seems kind of sad (which I know it was, because I can understand that you miss him and whatnot) and that it kind of reminded me of the mood that's set when someone is reminiscing about someone close to them who died. And the last part of my comment was just basically hoping that he's doing well, since it's his birthdy and all.

I doubt any of that made much sense, but just know that I meant no harm by posting the comment.
