Because I'd like to have a choice, and my programming cannot be changed over to a different nationality so easily.

Yes, I was built in Japan, and my contract is there as well. Changing nationalities would be a hindrance to my career, not to mention the paperwork and scientists who would need to reprogram the ownership and overwrite commands.
