I love Strait-Jacket! I love William Castle! Did you ever see the horror movie House on Haunted Hill (1959) with Vincent Price? Now THAT was an cool gem of a movie.

I haven't seen the remake with Geoffrey Rush, but, yeah, you're right, it looks stupid. You should totally watch House on Haunted Hill in October when you watch a marathon of horror movies during that month! It's available on youtube: House on Haunted Hill - Part 1.

Hmm. It might be one of those I have to buy. I tend to find it in dollar stores or super cheap when they're used. lol I love Vincent Price though. ^_^ I bought a super obscure movie like last year or the year before called Dead Heat. It's sold as his last movie, but I don't think it really was. lol He had a tiny part in it, but he hammed it up. ^_^ I love that about him.

I loved Strait Jacket!
Sure it is Joan Crawford with her career about to take it's terminal slide, but the whole thing is massive fun, and she overacts so hugely that it could probably be seen from space!
My favorite bit was the murders at the beginning with the brilliantly campy voice over and the fact that to make her look young they decided to pile on the makeup and shoot her through so much gauze so as to cause semi invisibility.
Hugely entertaining :)

Yeah, I loved that that too. XD

It was a fun movie. XD I nearly bought it awhile back when I found it used. I kinda wished I had. It was like 7 bucks.

Sadly it doesnt appear to be available on region 2 at all, so my options to watch it are seriously limited, someone had most of it up on YouTube a while back, but either I have lost it or it got taken down :(
