Hey guys. So I'm not dead, for those of you who were wondering. I do look like shit, though, so be warned. I'm still at the hospital. They put me on an iv drip, but they said I'm going to be fine. They're letting me go home tonight

[ It...probably wasn't the best idea for her to just-- show up. At least she stays in the doorway. Faith's not really in the room, but she had to come see him. Make sure he was okay. ]
[he wont lie to himself and say that he doesn't jump a little when he sees Faith there in the doorway. But hey. He's done shitting things when he's been cursed. Granted, he's never tried to eat anyone...]
[What is this? Monsters, harpies, zombies, vampires--that's all the kind of stuff he's been up against since he got here. Vampires are just the latest. Maybe he should make a career out of killing these things. Maybe not. He kind of looks like hell too, since fighting a vampire will do that to you, but you win the looks-like-more-hell contest, Stephen. He'll try not to let on that you're the winner there. And apparently everyone who comes to visit likes to just stand in the doorway.]
[Stephen is propped up in his bed checking the network when he comes in. He jumps a little at the sound of his voice - damn that guy is stealthy. He looks almost comical standing the the harsh florescent lights of the hospital. Certainly out of place, anyway. He can tell he's uncomfortable - hell, Stephen's never been a huge fan of hospitals, either. He clicks his device off and smiles at him.]
[It's not his idea of a great place, and, no he doesn't fit into it well at all. After all, while he's visiting, he can't smoke or carry his gun or wear his noisy spurs--I mean, they might as well just make him walk around naked or something. He'd sooner go out without his pants than without his gun :'( But he will endure. It's worth putting up with.]
[Heyyyyyy, the best bro is here? And he looks extremely nervous and possibly-gonna-puke-y, BUT HE'S HERE. And he brought soup. It's from lunch hours at the café, so it's cold now. But hey, the thought was there.]
[Stephen really is pale, with dark circles around his eyes. He has a bandage covering the side of his neck and a lot of dark bruising is peaking out from under it.]

[ Not that she'd really all that willingly go, but it's the thought that counts, right? ]

I could say the same for you.

First, scars are cool and second: How do you feel?
Reply
Uh, like I suffered major bloodloss? They put me on some pretty awesome painkillers, though.

[She sits down in a chair next to the bed.] Awesome painkillers are definitely the upside.
