Really? I'm glad to hear that then. This place is bad enough without having to be stuck out in the cold with no place to go.

Thanks, Eden.

Is that when it's paid? I guess I should pay closer attention to that kind of thing. I'm glad people have got a place to go though.

How philanthropic of you, Peter. I can only hope you succeed in this, whatever it is that you're doing.

In the meantime, I have a crystal punch bowl to buy, so I'm going shopping. Perhaps with Claire, if she would like to invite me.

Thanks, mom. You were always more supportive of stuff like this than dad. Although from what people have said it looks like pretty much everyone has a place to be.

A crystal punch bowl?

Well, a mother's job is to support, even when she thinks her children are making terrible, stupidly selfless decisions like becoming hospice nurses when they are clearly intelligent and motivated enough to be executives or congressmen.

For Christmas, dear.

Well, maybe that mother's son saw how hard she worked selflessly supporting everyone and thought the world could use a few more people like that?

I wish Nathan and the kids were here. It's a lot more fun with them around.

I would help too, if you find any.

I don't think I've found any who didn't choose not to live somewhere yet, but if there are I'd be glad to help.

Thanks, Rain. And how are you feeling? All better by now I hope.

Oh yes, much better thank you!

I... I used to live mostly on the streets, you know. That's why I would be glad to help.

Glad to hear that.

I'm sorry, that must have been hard.

Bet the gods here would let you build one. They might want your soul or something back, though.

I'm not sure if I'd sell my soul to be allowed to it, but if there's a big enough need I'd like to do it.

That's nice of you.

You could get a committee going? I dunno, some people around here love that kind of thing, and it is Christmas season. People could donate coats and food and all that, right?

I just might do that if I can find an area where help is needed.
