*Someday* (Inspired by a friend, yes it's fiction)

It's raining, why is it always raining in this God-forsaken town?

The porch light is on, she already knows he's there.....waiting...her heart beats faster and her breath is shallow as her trembling hand knocks on the door. Quietly at first...too quietly in fact, she goes to knock again, but instead sees the door is open already. She takes a deep breath, then another and tiptoes in. Her hair is drenched, her coat is dripping on the floor and she asks herself for the third time, "what the hell am I doing here?"
Another tentative step is taken and she hears a voice "Stop". Frozen in her tracks she can't even muster enough air for a breath. She contemplates the voice. Not cruel? not deep? Very calm, borderline cold and controlled, but no malice.

She is approached by a figure. The man is masked, but she can see his eyes from the light of the porch, tender yet determined."Turn around" he said. She complies, terrified, thinking "why am I scared, is this not what I asked for?"

Slowly and confidently the man slips his arms around her, she stiffens. "If you do not move, I promise you I will not harm you". She relaxes and he continues to remove the belt. Her coat falls open, revealing just her night gown. She didn't think, she didn't want to, she just needed one thing. As her hands were being bound behind her back she thought about what made her change her mind. It was his voice, he reassuring words, the promise that friendship would always be there no matter what happened right now.

Hands bound, he turns her back around and just looks at her. The excitement in her green eyes, the quivering of her full lips, the rise and fall of her breasts, and her scent, God she smelled so good. He wanted to take all of her in, but he promised only one thing and he would never break her trust. He removes his mask, revealing the man she admired, the man she truly cared for and and trusted, the man who was first and foremost her friend. He cupped her cheek and kissed her, not on the mouth, but in the hollow place where her collarbone and neck meet. He kissed her several times along the bone then traced his lips (he has the most beautiful lips) to just behind her ear and whispered. "I'm only going to let you go this one time"

He then unbound her hands ..and then went upstairs, and turned off the porchlight, and the lamp next to the leather couch, and whispered
her name, and wished her peace for the evening, even if it
wasn't to be with him....

someday
