The relationship began with a simple hand-made birthday card. When the minister announced it was her 80th birthday, I knew what I had to do. Well, first of all, you can submit more than one writing to the magazine, so I'd say go for it with both. But honestly I liked the story better than the poem. They're both great, cuz you're an amazing writer, but I like the story more. If you are only going to submit one of them, I'd go with this one.

Just my two cents. (cuz I'm pretty much broke right now. lol)
