So, this would have to be my second dream with Panther.
I'm at a loss for what it symbolizes, so any interpretations would be helpful.

I'm the back seat of the car and we're driving through a street, and it's normal and sunny out. I look out the window and see a full-sized Panther on the sidewalk. I get curious, so I stick my head out a little for ( Read more... )

Ah, I see. Don't know why I always though the two were different.

Yeah, I knew beforehand they had spots, I'm just having so much difficulty figuring out whether it's a black leopard or jaguar. I can never remember fully how they look. But when I saw the cub I remember the only thing going through my mind was the "half" idea. Or it's just nonsense I was thinking.

That actually all makes a lot of sense. Thanks. :D

For Panther being your totem, it seems as though you're experiencing a lot of fear surrounding him.
you were fine with sticking your head out the window to look at the full grown panther, but when panther was trying to get to you (via the cub) you close the window to keep him out. then, when you're in a half destroyed house, rather than being concerned about the safety of the house, you're worried about it coming in and 'getting' you.

i dont know, i don't feel fear when it comes to my totem (also a large cat) what is it about panther that frightens you so much?

That's just the thing. In actuality, I don't feel any fear for him at all. There was this one time I google image searched for Panther photos, and I saw this one photo where he looked really menacing, and I guess that may have gotten to me on a subconscious level. In the dream though, it seems like fear, but I think a better word was "uncertainty" or feeling "worried." My first dream with Panther involved me sliding down a slide in a dark playground, and I just barely missed landing into daggers at the bottom, and Panther was just lurking in the shadows watching. I didn't feel any fear then.
