It seems I need to invest in a new hobby. I have been spending far too much time baking as of late. I simply cannot eat all of this myself, yet it seems like a shame to let it all go to waste. I don't suppose there are any students out there that would like to make a request?

So, like, have you seen Back to the Future Part 2?

I'm afraid I don't watch many movies.

Okay, so then, like there's this guy called Marty McFly. He's, like some normal guy living a boring life and he goes back in the past in the first movie with a time machine and meets his father [.. and here she goes on about three paragraphs of the first movie] and anyway it ends up with him returning home, when another time machine car shows up and, it's like THE DOC! And he's like "YOU GOTTA GO SAVE YOUR KIDS!" and Marty is like "BOGUS!" and then they fly off to the future.

[Here, is a 4 paragraph description of the 2nd movie.]

But, like the idea is that, like the future is totally not completely set in stone! You might get glimpses and visions of what might come to pass, but in the end, it's, like, up to you if it happens or not!

At least, I think.

Also, time traveling is cool when you do it in a Delorean!

Ah. Then you don't believe there's any need to concern myself with my visions?

My expertise lies mostly with baking, but... it could be interesting to branch out. I'll give it a shot.

That's a tough question! I don't think the world would blow up or anything, if that's what you're asking. You'll need to be a bit more specific than that though.

Of course. What I mean to say is... is it possible to avoid the events shown to us, or is the end result inevitable regardless of our actions? If we are capable of acting outside of our foresight, then we will have altered the time stream. Will our visions from that point on continue to be of what would happen if we had not deviated, therefore rendering our ability useless? Even just knowing they aren't a certainty... it will mean that I have been living my life according to nothing but hallucinations, won't it?

Hmm. I'm not much of a future reader, so I don't really know. Do you not like what happens?

I can certainly try, though it may take me a few attempts.
