Its interesting to see such a positive spin on our generation. My workplace shows me a very negative view of our generation. I think reality must be somewhere in the middle.
Really? I found that article to be very true from my personal experience.
I mean, I've found tattoos very pervasive in our generation and our sense of a "right" to express ourselves in the workplace. And as we both know I'm not techno-savy at ALL...yet compared to some co-workers, I'm like a whiz-kid (which is weird for me).
My current boss actually confessed that after hiring me he read an article on "How to Manage Generation Y" (lol). He told me a lot of the same things the article said "Good with technology. Pro-diversity. Adaptable." But it also said "Difficult with work-place policy and not open to criticism." (Which I'll agree with too).
It's interesting to think about it. But I was just excited about how Generation Y is more prone to help the environment, and pro-diversity. Very good traits...but then again, I'm a liberal.
