This society has an obssesion with changing names of everything, like calling short names. BUT LATELY, ALL THE NICKNAMES I'VE HEARD HAVE BEEN UNRELATED TO THE THINGS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DESCRIBING! Like calling an old woman "Auntie" even though she is not related to you at all! Or calling a friend "dude" even when she's a girl! It makes no sense! And it confuses people!
