So, I didn't play The Sims 2 until late May. Ever (I've always been a little bit... behind the curve). And now I've been bitten hard by the simming bug while everyone is losing their head over Sims 3. Which I have absolutely no desire in playing

I like the fact that you're not into Sims 3. I just bought a copy but to be honest, I don't think I'm going to like it as much as Sims 2. I have too much fun playing that game.

I honestly don't know if my computer could *take* Sims 3. I have a new laptop which plays Sims 2 + various expansions with little to no problem, but I don't want to tempt fate. Plus, gorgeous neighborhoods aside, Sims 3 doesn't appeal to my aesthetic side as much as Sims 2.

I'm currently in the middle of photo-editing 1.1 and trying to make things sound at least a little more unique. I think it should be ready pretty soon, though!

Hello Kay! I'm Erica! I must agree with you on the whole sims 3 topic. I had to send my laptop to the computer shop to get more memory for Sims 3. It works perfectly now, with no problems. But I'm just not that into it. The camera angles go to far when you press the up/down/left/right key just once!

I to have been bitten by the Sims 2 bug (the number two not three!). I can't stop playing now. I've been on a hiatus for the past 3 weeks, and now that I've gotten back onto gaming its a can't-stop situation! I've been playing sims for about 5 years now. The first sims games I got was Sims bustin out on gamecube. Sad to say I can't get anywhere in that game. It's just too hard not knowing the cheats! D:

I started my legacy yesterday and finally got it uploaded today! Excitement, yes/yes? I can't wait to read yours! Happy simming my new friend!

Hey there Erica! Oh man, I've barely figured out the camera controls for Sims 2 lately. Sims 3 would kill me.

I've never even been a videogamer. My sister was upgrading to a Mac, so she gave her old copy of the basegame to me. I installed it and played it on a boring rainy day, and now I'm downloading tons of cc and managing several neighborhoods at a time. Whoops!

I'm a bit of a scatterbrain so I can't give an exact date, but I'm in the middle of preparing my first update for posting very, very soon. I adore new legacies; I'm headed right over to read yours.

Hiya Kay! I'm Em. Welcome! :) I know how it feels, I'm pretty new too and I've been putting together stories for a while but only just stumbled across communities and storytellers here... it's like a sweet shop. I've never been a gamer either but Sims 2 is so perfect, it's like a big dollhouse of creativity.

Oh... and sooooo totally with you on Sims 3. Everything I read about it makes me less intrigued by it. It just doesn't seem to have that Sims 2 charm. :(
