The goddess certainly knew how to end her day with a bang -- she leaps from the concrete, shot from the ground by a helpful tree root, just as a bolt of green hits the place where she had just been standing. The explosions and noise that accompanied the Titans would have been hard to miss even if he hadn't been on the rooftops already. Robin had seen the Titans battle, read her growing desperation in Persephone's response -- there was only one way this fight would end unless something happened ( ... )

A few minutes was all she needed. The goddess ran to the edge of the roof and took hold of one of the vines, intending to use it as a rope to propel herself down.

Persephone turns a quizzical look to Apprentice, probably looking more like a shaky and scared kid than a tough and powerful goddess. "Are you coming?"

The comparison is not lost on Robin -- he would love to have this out with Ivy. Having evil schemes is one thing, letting someone else take the fall for them? "Lead the way," he tells Persephone, voice clipped and matter of fact.

With a nod, Persephone drops to the ground, landing just shy of graceful and takes off full tilt down the street, not bothering to check if Apprentice was following -- if he was, he'd catch up easily, if not... well, she was on her own again.

Thankfully, it seemed that whatever had been done, the Titans were staying back, probably trying to regroup, and the goddess was thanking her lucky stars.
