another night gone

Apr 05, 2006 06:19

Twice in one night should be reserved for special occasions!! Just came back from the most mesmerizing walk to goodale park! Walking in the trees at 3 in the morning listening to corny Shakira , Disco Music and Asha Bhonsle….. For this impromptu picnic I had an ice-cream as a snack! Its 6:15 and I have to teach from 8 to 12…. Hurray for insomnia!

Last time I had done something similar, my lectures had these unintended silent pauses. Students believed I was thinking but me was napping ;)

Ha Ha... I do it all the time, not napping but being effervescent with energy after nights of insomnia

Oh honey, insomnia is so much fun!! I remember going to work after all-night-outs at clubs, getting myself a good breakfast and back to work!! This was in Beijing, ah how much I miss it!!

yay for insomnia! come night time and i'm totally alive, raring to get all my piled up work/ chores seen to. really, we've allowed the tyranny of our circadian cycles being ruled by the day people far too long :D that sounds like a fun picnic. what do ya teach?

I've always been tempted to go for walks at night but with incidents of women being ripped apart almost to death by packs of street dogs doesn't make that a very easy thing to do - but then I suppose Byron is not all that ghastly a way of spending time.
