Getting back into those Arab inspired people, a little bit! I was thinking about patterns, and will continue to do so. I might speed paint this some time!

This is for a comic I'm doing with hello_scorpling! Let me see if I can find how she described it... ah, here we go:
"This is the design of Stina, the main character of that other comic I’m working on together with the incredible Hillary Kelly.
When she saves a huldra, one of the seductive female creatures inhabiting the deep woods, from falling prey to Odin, Stina is rewarded with three lucky kisses - as well as the rage of the heathen god. Stina’s husband is the first victim. The temptation of a golden arm-ring brought in his path brings about his untimely death and curses his soul. In order to bring him peace Stina must travel into the darkest depths of the woods, into the realms of the otherworldly, to return the ring to its rightful owner or suffer the same unkind fate. But there’s more than plight that prompts her journey. There’s also the memory of the huldra’s kiss…
The story is a queer fairytale drawing heavily from Scandinavian folklore, and we’re hoping to start it up as a webcomic in January!"

This was a concept for another portraity type of thing for the main character of Empire State, which is starting to come together in my mind a bit more. I missed 24hr. comic day, so I might do one of my own next week or something, and get a rough draft of the beginning of this up and running.
