Safe: Rikku, Sara, Rayne, Gabriel, Todd, Mio
These are the ones that don't give me any trouble and tend to alternate between being my main and being backburner-y, depending on what's going on post-wise and inside my head at the moment. Rikku and Rayne are the easiest voices for me, followed by Sara, Todd, Gabriel and Mio. Mio... I try to take my time with a lot, because while she's a great character, she doesn't have a very strong voice to go by! All of her journal entries are, unlike Rei's notebook in FFIII, written in third person for some odd reason. I'm apt to think that it's yet another translation error in the English version of Crimson Butterfly, though... who knows. Mio could really use a Mayu, appers of the world~
I also have about... four essays I need to finish on some of these characters. :|

That is to say... if Setsuna dropped, I don't know how long I could hold on to Sara, but I'd give it a good shot. I love Sara, with her topping people and jesusing and her wacky temper. And considering 4/7 of my characters don't even have castmates, or people they're that attached to at camp... this is most likely N/A for right now.
PROBABLY GOING SOONER THAN LATER: Citrine
Citrine is my problem child. She gives me problems because she HAS problems. First off, she's very, very emotionally retarded! Second-- she's a bitch! To just about everyone! Even though she has self-esteem issues she still has to try to keep this air of arrogance because it's a part of who she is, and it's also a defense mechanism. No one can hurt you if they don't get close enough, right? The problem with that is she doesn't make lasting relationships easily and she tends to alienate the people that she DOES like.
Still, I like playing her... even though she has a tendency to get on my last nerve. Then jump up and down on it. I think that... it'd be a lot easier, really, if there was more of a Xenosaga cast than there is now. *Cough*APP ALBEDO*cough*
