stephen king has a great motto in his book On Writing (which was super-helpful): "Writers write because if they don't, they go nuts. They write because not to write is a slow death of the soul."

That's a great quote. I think he's right too. Ever since I started writing more in my journal, reading more, playing guitar again, etc. I've been feeling more alive. Not being creative, as a creative person, is the worst thing I was doing to myself.

Thank you! I have not been consciously trying to change my writing but I'm happy to hear the other changes I have been making are influencing my writing :D
