There will be photos and sewing till the fingers bleed and no sleep. No sleep ever. Did I mention that this was on the tail end of Fashion week?

They post flyers for it on communities about steampunk, burlesque, the 1920s, the 1930s, and things like that. You should absolutely go. I have been desperately wishing that I could teleport to new york ever since I heard about this.

I second. You should come. I'm dragging Safi along with me. We all need an excuse to break out the good hats.

I know someone on the inside for that place...though I think it may be the earlier one that she's working on...not entirely sure.

They seem to be a pseudo monthly thing. Which makes me excited because then I have an excuse to dress up like I used to!

Well hopefully they'll still be happening if/when you ever come back from Japan.

Oh man, yeah, I've been wanting to go to those since they started. They had Jill Tracy and Tempest at one of them! They are two of my favourite people! I would totally go every month (I think it's monthly) if I lived anywhere nearby. Can I live vicariously through you? The festival sounds SERIOUSLY cool. Take lots of pictures if you go! :)

I'll even bring my old slr pentax. Not exactly steampunk but old and film anyway. ^_^ Then maybe I'll eventually get off my ass and get them developed and post them. I have so many pictures I've never posted, and they're digital. I fail sometimes.
