I've been shamefully neglecting LJ recently.  Shamefully!  So, here's an ART dump.  Most of this stuff has been on tumblr.  There are also a few things I made for friends, and a couple of random bits & pieces that I haven't posted anywhere.  Image heavy (duh), so go behind the cut.

The two small ones of Barbara only took a couple of hours each. The one with everyone in their Crusading clothes took about sixteen hours. I can't remember how long the Aztecs one took, somewhere between fifteen and twenty hours, I'd guess. The feathers were definitely harder than the console. In fact, I failed on the feathers. Half of the ones on her cape are supposed to be orange, but even in a fairly high res photo, I wasn't able to distinguish individual ones very well, so I had to make them all the same color.

Bless your heart. You know how much I appreciate your attention to detail, and your interest. :-D

Casting a spell? I like that. I thought of this more as an attacking zombie sort of scene, but I like the spellcasting. Also glad you enjoyed "Dalek with a Pearl Earring". Thanks for the cookies. :-D

Dalek with a pearl earring is amazing. As is 'Dalek swims with waterlilies' ? (or whatever it's called) you have a gift with the Daleks. :)

"Hylas and the Daleks", based on "Hylas and the Nymphs" by Waterhouse. I have a print of that above my fireplace, and I was amused the other day when my son studied it thoughtfully and then asked me where the Dalek was.
