I like DBA, but it's pretty small unless the weather is good enough to chill in the backyard. Dogfish head is some seriously delicious shit. I discovered it earlier this winter at my local bodega, and was delighted when I found they carried the 8% shit on tap at Asylum. I have never had this mythical 17% beer, however.

Never even heard of any of the other bars.

for what it's worth, i prefer all the other bars to ace b/c i really wasn't that impressed when we went there around new year's. it is large, cavernous even, with video games in the front and a pool table in the back, but eh, i dunno. however, it is your birthday, and i will be happy just to share it wherever.
