I am getting sick of complaining about being unemployed. It's making me less of an interesting person to be around. I'm thinking about looking up a temp agency and doing temp work until I find something more permanent. At the same time, between working at the bar and my other part-part time job, I should be fine on rent and food this month.

And how could I have possibly forgotten? Ali and I got an apartment! Yes! It's the ground floor of an absolutely gorgeous renovated brownstone in Bed Stuy, a block away from thrownoverbored and hoolifan. I don't know if I could ask for a better place. Plus it's got a BACKYARD! Yes!

Being home is nice. For the first time in a while, I've been actually looking out for myself and doing exactly what I want to do. It's a strange feeling, but I'm enjoying it.
