Oh dear! I'm glad nothing worse happened, but I know how slow the time can go when there's nothing to do but wait for it to come back. When power goes out here, I always seem to find a million things I DESPERATELY want to do now that I can't do them. Mundane things like do laundry.
I'm glad you and your perishables are safe and sound.

Check your basement for standing water. A fan can evaporate it much faster if you first use a push-broom to spread the water wide and thin. (I'll be doing the push-broom hustle for the next 24 hours or so.)

Oh jeez! We had the same story up until the power actually coming back around 11:30 maybe. I'm sorry to hear yours lasted so very long! Insane!
