Eight Days to the Wedding and I'm . . .
SICK!:( Went to be last night with a painful sore throat, woke up with same sore throat. Had no appetite. Started getting a fever. Went to the doctor and, ta-da!, I have strep throat and am now on a course of antibiotics to kill this thing.
Just my luck, you know? Ah crud. Well off to slurp soup, gargle with saltwater and sleep some more. -
How did I wind up with so much stuff???
Just emptied my bedroom closet. I swear the thing must have a dimensional storage hatch or something. The stuff from the closet filled up half the room. I have too much clothing too many shoes and not enough patience.

A Moving Experience
I don't know if it's possible for moving to be anything but a stress-filled harrowing experience fraught with problems. Stress Central
So what am I supposed to do with all this stress? I wish I knew some alchemy that'd change it into cash: I could use some cash right about now. The all-kids, all the time days continue at the library. I Hate Family Politics and Game-Playing
My dad is a good man. An alcoholic, yes, but a good man who has a crummy game playing family. My dad is paying most of the wedding for us--if he hadn't offered, we'd be having a much smaller event. So I had my bridal shower on Sunday. All I can say is I am incredibly blessed with my friends and family.
