Dear Mayor Kincaid,

I am amazed at how lackadaisical the city I call home went about an opportunity to host a World Cup warm up match for our United States national soccer team. To have an opportunity like this slide illustrates the decision making ability of our “leaders.” There is no excuse not to have proudly hosted this match, and it is sad that no one did anything about it in time to keep the match in Birmingham. It is my wish that we pay attention to, and jump at, a good opportunity when it knocks.
