i loved the part in his speech where he was like, there is too much money spent on volcano monitoring, and its like, um do you live in an area that is DUE to be COMPLETELY DESSIMATED by a major earthquake that is going to be caused by a volcanic eruption out in the ocean? do you live in the frickin cascadia subduction zone? i dunno, i just thought that part was dumb, but i could be totally off and not know what im talking about, which is probably true.
