I can't housesit at L&R's because the house is being shown in their absence by realtors who insist that no one live there during same. Sob. I told you this on phone, C, but as usual, you were probably not listening. I am going over bi-daily to water flowers and get mail in. About to do so now. I think I will sneak in a load of laundry each day

No word on puppy's sex, but news of a naming contest, however, perhaps this was a joke. Not sure. Said company will first be Kirstin, who came out for 3 days last year, and is quite social and fun. Should not impede upon visiting, as I have impressed upon her how nifty all friends in California are, and she will be busy tagging along with me being awed by everyone's (and your) supreme coolness. HA. That's June 20-27. Next comes Big Sister, Claire, who is fantastic (29-6). Honestly. We get along SO well. You are really going to get a kick out of her, and she's QUITE fun and smart. She's 21 and studying ... British and American Literature, I believe, and will be writing her thesis next year, so certainly you'll find her far from dull. I will also insist on dragging her to all the sorts of things I would do anyway. She'll be quite into that, I am sure. And if not, though luck for her, right
