So I know it's been forever and no one really ~does~ LJ anymore, but! I'm looking for people willing to work in a maid cafe at Otakon in exchange for possible general gofer perks (that's reimbursed membership, vouchers for free food, gofer-specific swag, and potentially partial reimbursement on your room--up to I think $120 for the weekend?). Fantastic! I'm still in the pitch stages of the plan, but I hope to have a little more info available soon; generally, though, I'm looking for (at the very least) 3-6 maids and 2-4 butlers, so please pass this around! I'll open the entry to public so other people can see it!

I can actually be a butler or maid. Thing is the FB status said next year so I don't know if you meant 2013 or 2012.

Yeah, it's a new thing we may be putting on in 2012, just to see how it goes. There's nothing completely confirmed yet because we've got to talk with the venue and find out what exactly we can do, but I'm hunting out people I can trust to help herd cats from the inside, haha. Feel free to send him here; I'm thinking we'll probably have to do a form for applications on the site, and I can let you guys know when the form goes live (if everything is approved, of course).
