I arrived at Disneyland at about 11 or 11:30 and as soon as I walked up to the HOB I hear my name. I look and I see Jayme, a girl I had met on myspace. She was walking up with her friends, so we all got in line together. We pretty much just chilled and hung out for the few hours before the show. I definitely got a pretty nice burn/tan -- with a tan line right across the middle of my shin. I even got myself some HOB merch! What was a bummer though was that one of the venue staff came out and told us all how there were absolutely no camera allowed…which was a total bummer.
Finally, at about 3 or 4 the boys FINALLY show up. the first person I saw was Marshall. I spotted his red striped tank (I’m pretty sure the same one he had worn the day before, unless he has more than one of them). The funny think was that I wasn’t even sure it was him, I just saw the shirt (yeah, I have really bad vision and I hate wearing my glasses). as soon as I saw him, I was like “Oh my god!” and took off running towards him, just kind of hoping it really was him. when I finally get to him, I gave him a big hug and said, “I just wanted to attack you before all the fan girls do.” then I let him keep walking and I said hi to Ian. I gave him a hug and see his mom Kathy and Beth right behind him, so I also say hi to them and give them hugs. . We all talk for a bit before Ian is approached by some other fans. Cash follows shortly behind them and tells us how he had done 105 the entire way there, making it from Vegas to Anaheim in about 3 hours. For those of you who don’t know, that is a normal 4 ½ hour drive according to yahoo! I keep talking to Kathy and Beth for a while. Eventually I got back in line.
Finally Mandi and her crew got there around 5 or so and her mom gave me a quick ride to my hotel so that I can check in. We came back and jumped right back in line. Pretty soon, they started letting people in. so we got in and got about three or so people back in the pit. Pretty soon, people started shoving. there were some really bitchy girls in front of us, so we had fun making fun of them. We also talked to a couple really cool people behind us. Once the show started (Danger Radio was first), the crowd really started getting rowdy, so everyone but me decided to get out. I really wanted to stay for The Cab. However, I wasn’t having any fun, so I also got out and headed towards the back to try and find everyone else. Mandi spotted me first and called my name. So for the rest of the night, I stuck with her.
We eventually found her mom who was with Kathy, Ian’s Grammy, and Ian’s aunt and her boyfriend. We said hi and introduced ourselves (although his Grammy seemed to already know who we all were). Ian seriously has an AMAZING family.
So basically, for the rest of the night we hung out in the back with Ian’s family. After The Cab’s set, we went up to merch and I got my 5th copy of WW. Later, during The Main’s set, Ian and Beth came down and hung out with us too. We definitely had a MAD dance party going on during The Maine and Metro Station along with 3 people in front of us (two guys and a girl who may or may not have been slightly intoxicated). It was seriously the best night of my life!
When Ian first came out, he saw Mandi first and gave her a hug. Then he saw me and had a much bigger reaction than I thought he was going to. His eyes seriously LIT up and he was like “Hey sweetie!” and gave me an absolutely amazing hug! he tells me that he is really glad I came to the last two shows. He also thanked me for the card I gave his mom. he said it was perfect and that it really meant a lot. when Mandi and I went back over to where we had been, I almost started crying just thinking of what Ian had said and how much that meant to me alone. Later, Kathy also thanked me for the card and she would have shown it to her mom, but she knew that it would have made her cry.
That night we also got into a conversation about Ian’s dress up days and Beth’s elderly influences and how they wore each others clothes as kids. Ian also told us how he had dressed up as a ninja turtle.
Hmmm…yes, more dance party! Everyone was really into it, including Ian’s Grammy. At some point I ended up standing next to Ian, and a couple times we turned to each other and sang along together to whatever song was playing. Eventually, Ian and Beth left (I guess his ears were bothering him or something).
After the show, we hung out and talked some more until we basically got kicked out. then we just hung out outside with our party crew waiting for Ian. We even had a huddle of secrets (which are no longer secret), and Kathy told us how they were going to be filming two music videos and how Marshall had to find a white piano with a $200 budget.
Eventually, Ian and Beth came out. we hung out more and Beth even took a couple pics of/with me and I took one of her and Ian.
Soon enough though Mandi had to leave (they still had to check in to their hotel an it was almost midnight), despite how much none of them wanted to leave. She offered me a ride to my hotel so that I didn’t have to walk. So I said my goodbye’s to Ian and everyone. Sad moment fer izzle.
Before the night was over though, Mandi and I decided we were going to the Seattle show, and Ian and I decided I should take him to Pita Pit in Spokane! Also, Mandi makes an awesome prom date, everyone! BTW. haha
So because if the new camera rule, I don't have any pics and Beth hasn't given me the ones she's taken yet, and like an idiot i didn't take any pics before the show when i DID have my camera. Oh well. Although, if you follow the link in part 1 of this review, I'm pretty sure I have pics of my burn! lol
