I visited my sister yesterday and hadn't seen her in about a week. Her next chemo is on the 23rd. But, she is disturbingly thin and weak. I tried to suggest chair exercises on YouTube for her to try but she is very stubborn. Have you lost your appetite too?

I'm sorry to hear that your sister is thin and weak. A couple days after a chemo infusion I have joint pain and my sense of taste is diminished by about 50 percent. My appetite is slightly diminished for a few days too. Patients have different reactions to chemo, and there are different drugs used for chemo, depending on what's happening to that particular patient.

I have heard that exercising can help with side effects. I think walking helps me when I can get out. If only your sister could just try a few exercises, to see how she felt afterward. Best wishes for her health.
