Odd question, that first one. Rita likes....

Well, I'll tell you a bit about her, might help. She hates cats, with a passion. She likes writing, she's always scribbling in something like a journalist. She likes simple things, like flowers and swings on trees and a good cup of coffee and raspberry turnovers. She learned how to sew from her mother and hates wearing the stupid jumpers her mother knits her in her circle. She can have a wicked sense of humour sometimes and can be completely silly when the situation calls for it.

And she liked my damn motorbike.

Any reason as to why you wanted to know?

I'm not busy this weekend. I'll run it by Liza....I think she mentioned something about Henri. She had a skip to her step, which can only mean that they've been getting to know each other.

I wouldn't mind watching him, not at all. Planning something good?

She hates cats? Oh. OH, that is wonderful. She...sews? interesting. But cat hatred and writing are good enough for me. The motorbike, I will make no comment on.

Oh, no reason. I was planning on stealing her from you and abandoning my wife and child, didn't you know?

Now...that's an image I did not want, but certainly, run it past her.

I hope I'm planning something good. We shall see. But your help is most appreciated.

She HATES cats. She's polite about it, but yes. No cats. Not sure how she feels about animals in general, but cats terrify her. She does sew. She make a lot of her own clothing. She's Catholic too, born and raised, if that strikes any accord with you.

The day you fall for anyone who's not a dark-eyed, dark-haired European is the day I marry Dumbledore.

Tell me about it. I'll run it by her though and let you know.

Count me in, just tell me when you plan on it. My schedule is looking fairly blank up until the age of 50.

This is brilliant. As you know my opinions on any animal of any sort. Especially cats. I didn't think women did that sort of thing any more. I was wrong. Ah, but is she a devout one? Because I might want to hit my head into a brick wall if she is.

Well, he better get his special beard braids out for the special occasion.

Good, good. You can look after him until he's a proper man. Then I'll take him back.

That does sound like quite a predicament, I'll have to come in after I've tended to Mathieu. Why are you taking Rita Skeeter for coffee? Oh, I don't mind, she was a nice enough student.

I've decided, whether you like it or not, that I have to come back to Hogwarts next year or I'll implode. Muggle children are alright, but they're not the same as Hogwarts students. I'm bored, Abime.

Spectacular. Because...well, it's complicated. But if she's going to go out with Nick, I need to find something to set her in my mind as something other than a student.

Good. That you'd go back, not that you're bored. I miss having you here, I feel so damn awful that you're bored and...I'm sorry. We can work something out for Mathieu, I'm sure.

Oh, oooh. I see where you're coming from, she still is like a student. I still remember her in her Hogwarts robes, in my class.

I miss having you around, too. We can get Mathieu into a daycare around Hogsmeade, and I can pick him up after classes. Don't be sorry, we both knew someone was going to have to stay at home when he was born, and you would have looked a bit silly doing it.

Exactly my point. Which is why it's rather disturbing, but if it's making Nick happy, I'm going to over come it.

I really don't care about looking silly. And I really did and still do feel a little uncomfortable leaving my 1 year old with strangers. But what has to be done will be done. Would your parents watch him, perhaps?

Professor Delame,

No, I should apologise, I was awfully cranky. But you did make it sound like you expected students to drink behind your back, and I didn't think that was right. Coffee? I'd love to, when are you free next?

Miss Skeeter,

I do expect them to. I don't like it that they do, but I do expect it. I am...well, either next weekend, or an evening, if you want to come to Paris.

Professor Delame,

Maybe if you didn't voice your expectations, they might not feel so obliged to meet them. Paris? Oh, I'd love to come to Paris, I've never been. Whenever is fine for you, Professor, I wouldn't want to be a trouble.

Rita Skeeter,

I do think they'd meet them if I voiced how much I abhorred it too. It's sort of rebelling against the system, if you see what I mean. Really? Well, it's about time you did. Tell me, what time do you work to? I can come by and pick you up on my way home with Livia.

Professor Delame.
