For a multitude of reasons, this journal is going friends only. That means, if you don't have a LJ account, you can't see or comment on my journal. For those of you that are already my friends, you're fine. I just have a few cuts to make regarding certain people viewing my journal, which is why all my entries are going private.

I really like your new icons. i was going to comment on them. what do you use to make them though cause so far I've only used webstyle 4 to make one from photographs. I can't layer or anything like that. what do u use? does it involve prgraming or something? im sorry im not savy in this department.

This icon right here is my favorite, tying with the 'caught a lite sneeze' filk that is my main icon. I just use the photoshop skillz that I gleaned from Digital Design last year... I have Elements 2.0, and it's really nothing fancy, what I do. I'm not even getting into opacity and layers and moving text yet, just because I'm relearning how to do this.

You just set a type layer over your base, and voila. Instant icon.

but how do u save it as small? doesn't it recognize the whole document as the size?

I'm not sure what you mean...if you're talking about the bases, you have to cut the size down to 100x100 pixels, because LJ won't support anything larger. The bases I use are already cut down to size, so I don't need to really worry about that...

But if yours aren't, just use the 'cut' tool in P-shop. It isn't that difficult.
